Les bulles Z-Racing sont conçues pour être aérodynamiquement plus efficaces que celles d'origine de chaque moto, testées en soufflerie virtuelle pour assurer une amélioration du coefficient aérodynamique (Cx) et de la protection aérodynamique du pilote car grâce à sa double courbure, elle détourne le vent qui affecterait son casque et la partie supérieure du torse. Les deux canaux latéraux collectent le flux d'air et le canalisent vers l'extérieur afin de réduire la pression de l'air sur les épaules du pilote.

L'amélioration de la protection aérodynamique est de 12,7% (en moyenne en position verticale) par rapport au modèle d'origine et de 61% en position de conduite «racing».
